Step into the paranormal underground of your city as you join Fright, your over-enthusiastic ghost-hunting mentor, on a walkable supernatural mystery.
Investigate haunted hotspots, wield your EP (Exorcist Powers), meet mischievous spirits, and choose how to confront them. Your decisions determine which ending you earn… and whether the ghosts go quietly.

How to Redeem & Play (3 Simple Steps!)
We strongly recommend completing these steps on your phone, with this page open in your mobile browser.
Step 1: Download the Story City App
You’ll need the Story City app to redeem and play your adventure.
⚠️ The app must be installed before moving to Step 2. The spirits insist upon this.
Step 2: Redeem Your Gift
Once the app is installed, click the redemption link below.
What happens next:
- You’ll be redirected to the Story City app and coupon pop-up
- You’ll be prompted to create an account or sign in (email or social login)
- A redemption modal will appear once you’ve created your account
- Select your gifted adventure on the modal
- Apply the coupon and add it to your library

Step 3: Create Your Route
Now comes the fun part.
This adventure is location-based, which means you decide where the story unfolds. Inside the app, you’ll be guided through placing Frightnight story chapters at real-world locations that fit the narrative.
Setup takes about 15 minutes, and we recommend doing this at home, preferably somewhere well-lit, before heading out on your investigation.

You’ll be choosing locations that are:
- Easy to walk between
- Public and accessible
- Atmospheric enough to make you question your life choices
- You can play day or night, but if you play at night please select a neighborhood that is safe to walk in the evening.
Yes, you can have one person set the route for your entire team.
Just mark it as a community route with a memorable name so your whole team can access it via the Select Route button.
📍 Location Suggestions for Frightnight
Best played in:
Downtown cores, historic districts, or older neighborhoods
Included location types you’ll need are:
- Murals, public art, and memorials
- Older buildings & schools
- Plazas & parks
If a location doesn’t quite work, the app will guide you to alternative location types that will do in a pinch.

You’re welcome to invite friends, family, or other brave souls to join you. Each additional agent will need their own ticket, and they can join anytime (even last-minute) at 50% of the retail price.
