How to Play
🚀 Step 1: Scan the QR Code
🎉 You found a duck! That means you’ve already completed Step 1! Scan the duck’s bottom—and your adventure has begun.
📸 Step 2: Snap a Photo & Share
Take a picture or video with your duck and post it on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X) , Youtube or Tiktok.

2. Use the hashtag #duckdrop
3. Make sure to include your hometown in the post!
The first person to post a photo tagging their unique hometown gets an immersive Story City adventure in that town for free + we will credit you as the one who brought this experience to your community!
It’s the perfect way to make weekend memories with friends & family.
🦆 Step 3: What’s Next?
✈️ March 10-15 (Travel Mode Activated!)
- If you found your duck between March 10-15, take it with you home!
- These ducks are meant to travel! Post a pic of your duck in your fav haunt in your city, tag us, and we’ll drop a Story City outdoor escape room in your community —completely free to you!
- You’ll receive credit as the “Bringer of Adventure” to your city.
- Pass this duck on! Send the duck along its journey with a friend, work colleague, traveling doorknob salesman or your niece’s roommate’s college boyfriend so that they can do the same and bring the Escape Room gifting duck to their community! Everyone deserves a visit from one of these little rubber Santas!
