TFDL 4th-6th Floors

Where can I find it?

If you’re coming from the TI, make your way back into the MacEwan Student Centre from the doors closest to the Leadership and Student Engagement Office, past the food court and elevators, and exit on the other side. Be sure to take the stairs all the way up to the 6th floor of TFDL to generate some of that much needed pre-study energy, but if you’d rather not, there are also elevators.

Unlike the common space on the 1st-3rd floors, the upper floors of the Taylor Family Digital Library (TFDL) are surrounded by books and are intended as quiet spaces for students who wish to study in peace. During exam and mid-term season especially, the upper floors tend to fill up quite quickly after classes. For the best mountain sunsets in northwest Calgary, be sure to arrive extra early and grab a window on the side of the building that you’re facing when heading out the elevators. Or if you want to spend your time watching the MacKimmie Block being built, grab a seat on the other side.
