Stop 2: I-House (Residence Services Office)

Welcome to International House, more commonly known as I-House! For those of you not familiar with the building, it is the residence part of East Campus and houses students from Canada and around the world. They contribute to the wide sharing of their diverse cultures through meals, celebrations, learning opportunities and other programs.

I-House residents plan about 150 programs a year for their community. We know that is quite an impressive number. They are also involved in events for the entire campus community, especially during I-Week. I-week is a week-long educational event that fosters global citizenship by engaging with today’s most pressing issues. You’ll hear more about it later on in the semester, so keep an eye out for those!

I-house also has a Residence Services Office that you can access. If you have a question such as general residence inquiries, residence contracts, questions about payment, but don’t know who to go to, this is a great place to start! Chat with your RA to learn more about the services they offer.

Now head back towards Nîpisîy along 111st. Turn left when you see the parking lot. If you are looking at google maps DO NOT turn at 90 Avenue. If you have turned correctly the Law centre will be to your left and the parking lot to your right. Keep heading down this road till you see a bus shelter.
